Scott creates his work from his home studio, which is located in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. He studied glass blowing at the renowned Appalachian Center for Crafts in Smithville, TN and has worked with artists such as Curtiss Brock and Dick Huss. Much of Scott’s inspiration comes from growing up on Sunset Beach, one of North Carolina’s barrier islands, and his close proximity to the sea.
