Sarah Friday Peters of Wellspring Studio creates handcrafted clay pendants, earrings and brooches in Raleigh and the mountains of North Carolina. She especially loves themes of nature and Spirit, often including swirls, leaves, vines and other symbols. All clay pieces are individually hand-cut, glazed and fired. She complements each piece with organza, leather, stones, beads or silks for elegant pottery you can wear! Each piece is made from the heart for you to enjoy.

A native of Lincolnton, N.C., Sarah has lived in Raleigh since 1979. She grew up near the kilns of traditional and renown potter Burlon Craig, and continues to be inspired by North Carolina potters past and present. She teaches handbuilding classes in Raleigh, and art and claywork to students from kindergarten through high school each summer in Montreat, N.C.
