| Nancy began her professional career as a marine biologist so you will find a strong reference to the sea in the colors, materials, and textures that she uses. All of the pieces reflect either the natural beauty of the earth's bounty or the contrasting effects of combining the softness of materials such as pearls with the sharp glimmering edges of expertly cut gem stones.
Nancy has traveled to India several times to have her designs set by generations old artisans. The gifts from those trips have been both in having her own designs crafted in 18k gold, diamonds, and precious and semi-precious stones, and bringing back strands of incredibly high quality stones to be used in her beaded pieces. You will see the rare quality and cuts in each of the pieces she designs.
